Originally an unincorporated community in the county, Poway officially became a city on December 12, 1980. Poway’s rural roots gave rise to its slogan “The City in the Country”. It is home to over 4,700 acres of open space, 55 miles of trails and 25 parks. Throughout the year, the City also provides numerous family-oriented events such as the Old Fashioned 4th of July, Summer Concerts in the Park, Christmas in the Park and the Youth Fishing Derby. The Master Bathroom of this Poway, Ca home previously had a tub with difficult accessibility along with very outdated cabinets. This bath now features natural stone travertine tile on the shower walls and floor along with a soaking tub for two, which is also a shower combo with a travertine bench alongside. Completing the look is a ceiling mounted shower head with brush nickeled fixtures, two corner shelves, and a pencil deco liner.
All new custom cabinetry was built using dark stained alder wood with shaker cabinets. Natural travertine counters were added, complimented by mirrors lined with faux albacore shell framing. The travertine look is continued with the Versailles pattern tile flooring.
The cabinetry space is completed with a custom-built linen tower to provide plenty of storage space.
