CARMEL VALLEY KITCHEN

The owner of this Carmel Valley, CA home requested we replace the original cabinets, which were falling apart, and adjust the direction of the island to take advantage of the beautiful view. We put in custom cabinets with flush inset that color coordinate well with the darker quartzite countertops, island, and backsplash that feature striking gold and brown undertones, and the new Vent-A-Hood range. For extra storage under the extended countertop, some very deep drawers were installed to accommodate taller items. Another great feature are the double cutlery drawers that slide back to reveal two levels, located on both sides of the stove for easy cooking convenience.

The home also featured a side pantry that needed renovation, so we added all new shelves and six pull-out drawers for extra accessibility. The door was also custom stained to match the color of the new cabinets. The photos below also showcase the Butler’s Pantry which we remodeled to include a wine fridge on the left side, with cabinets that go all the way down to the countertop for increased storage space. On the right we have the cabinets on top with counter space below. We used seeded glass for the cabinet doors which turned out very well.
