Mathis Custom Remodeling was delighted to complete this Major Whole-Home Remodel in San Diego, Ca which included adding 600 sq. ft to the back of the house. This additional square footage was obtained by the removal of a pool in the backyard which allowed us to enlarge the two bedrooms in the rear of the house, as well as add a walk-in closet to the Master Bedroom and build a large custom cabinet storage area in the hallway. We were also able to add a laundry room in the home.

The removal of a wall between the kitchen and living room created an open concept kitchen/Great Room which now includes a large island and walk-in pantry, doubling the size of the kitchen work space. The finished project succeeded the client’s wishes for their Dream Kitchen, including Custom White Beadboard Cabinetry with a lazy Susan corner storage area, a trash/recycle pull out, a spice rack pull out, black granite countertops, and a pot filler above the stove.
